Her grandmother taught her to crochet as a child and her mother was a Native American silversmith and hairdresser.  Sharie spent many years working in salons in New York City, she was a national educator and award-winning stylist.  Upon relocating to Connecticut in 2014 she went back to her fiber roots and picked up a crochet hook again.   Her work can combine crochet, knitting or Tunisian crochet.  In a short period of time, her craftsmanship and color combinations are earning her significant recognition thru-out New England.  Her fiber choices consist of hand-dyed merino, cashmere, Baby Alpaca, and Pima cotton.
