Mark has always loved art, but spent his whole life only as an observer, not a creator. After many years of thinking about learning the art of stained glass, he finally decided to take a class. His first piece celebrated the style of Frank Lloyd Wright, his favorite architect. Working with wood has also been an interest, as well as, repurposing found objects. Mark has built tables from live edge wood slabs and created Adirondack chairs and tables using old skis. This piece combines his two favorite media – glass and wood. While still working full time, he is hoping to continue creating art.
