Portfolio Categories: Fabric-Fiber and Fashion.

As far as I can remember I always kept my hands and mind busy creating things. As a young girl after WW2 in Germany I started weawing, knitting, crochet and sewing my own clothes. I even sold to friends some little things I made for pocket money. Later as a mother of three living in France, knitting was my main hobby. But I also tried all kinds of different needlecraft as well as jewelry making with whatever material I found suitable.

Years later when living here in Connecticut, besides some mosaic work, knitting and sewing were my hobbies of choice. I’m am especially interested in recycling. For my purses I use belts as shoulder straps and embellishment and also some hardware for purses and necklaces (drawer pulls, washers, bobbings etc).
