Photographer Jason Neely created his Woodland Impressions series over the course of the last year, shooting images in state parks and nature preserves throughout New England. For Neely, parks like these provide a vital space for people to remain connected to the natural world and are critical for conservation. After playing with the shutter speed and the rate of movement, he began getting results that reminded him of Impressionistic paintings and shot images in each season, entitled Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
