Clear selenite is one of the members of the gypsum mineral family. These crystal varieties occur as column-like or tabular slabs. In particular, clear selenite crystals reveal inherent inclusions and fractures within their depths. The intricate internal layers and fractures along with the splintered lines and textures are all characteristics of this crystal.
