Sarah Thompson is a Graphic Designer living in Chester, CT. Ms. Thompson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Advertising from Michigan State University and studied Website Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She developed and taught preschool art classes at the Arts Center Killingworth and currently coordinates Cultural Arts Programming at Chester Elementary School, where her seven-year-old daughter is enrolled.
Sarah grew up with a strong desire to create art, inspired by her mother, an elementary art school teacher. During her childhood, Sarah focused on drawing and illustration. As an adult, she trained to become a Graphic Designer, but continues to practice art off of the computer screen, using various mediums, now experimenting with watercolor. Sarah has taken classes at Spectrum Art Gallery.
Sarah works regularly with Spectrum Art Gallery on marketing, advertising and maintaining the Gallery’s website and online shop. Some of her past clients for graphic design work have included Penguin Group USA, Penn State University, Conde Nast (brides.com), Tri-Town Youth Services, Noble Environmental Power, The Society of Connecticut Sculptors and the Old Lyme Country Club.
