Regina has been fortunate to live in Asia and Europe being exposed to a myriad of art works. While living in Richmond UK, she enrolled in a Gallery Studies course for three years. She studied the disciplines in architecture, film, furniture design and their evolution in conjunction with the arts’ movements.
Regina has made the natural progression from studying art to creating it. Marrying these two loves, so when she is not painting, Regina continues to explore galleries, museums and artists studios. She began training in England taking studio level courses and is refining her craft through classes and workshops in the U.S. She has attended classes and workshops at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design), The New Art Center in Newton, South Shore Art Center, West Hartford Art League, Creative Arts Workshop/New Haven, CT, Yale University and the British Art Museum.
Regina began showing work in November 2002 and has been included in many juried exhibitions at museums and galleries. She is an elected artist at New Haven Paint and Clay. Loving the uniqueness and freedom to delve into so many mediums, Regina continues to specialize in collage and mixed media.
Her work has been shown at galleries in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Regina’s paintings are in private collections nationally and internationally.
