Marilyn Parkinson Thrall is a Connecticut Sculptor working in bronze and terra cotta clay for over 40 years. Her work is in both public and private collections across the country. Most recently she has created and installed public work in Hartford, a “Memorial to Sandy Hook” for the Connecticut Education Association as well as The “Lucille Micacci Memorial” in Deming Park, Berlin CT.
Marilyn has been a visiting artist in many public schools and teaches in her studio in Canton, CT. Although, most known for her figurative sculpture, Marilyn occasionally designs small work such as ornaments. These original designs incorporate Marilyn’s attention to detail, gentleness in character and quality of craftsmanship which is apparent in every artistic endeavor she takes.
