James Pizzimenti


James Pizzimenti, a New York based visual and audio artist, and a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research, Manhattan NY.  James is a visual artist, music artist and also a published music composer with songs published for radio and television around the world. 

He has held numerous solo shows throughout the tristate area and has exhibited work in galleries like Barsky Gallery of Hoboken, New Jersey and also had artwork featured on a television episode of URAWarrior on the Oprah Winfrey Network.  

He was the owner and founder of the art and wine gallery CANVAS located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It was a one of a kind location that brought together great food, wine and art while supporting local artists. Hosting events such as art shows, spoken word and poetry nights, James was able to give back to the community he grew up in.

In 2013, a major focal point in James’ career was creating an outlet for local artists to showcase their work in his own hometown of Brooklyn, where he was born and raised.  Most recently being featured at the Spectrum Gallery of Centerbrook, CT.
