Andrea is an abstract-expressionist artist based in New York City. She studied painting at Florida State University and Parsons School of Design. She has a bachelors degree in art history with a minor in studio art and a masters degree in education. Andrea is a full time painter and part time teacher. Her work has been exhibited at the George Billis Gallery in Chelsea, NY, The Saatchi Other Art Fair in New York City, as well as The Gallery at the View on Elm in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has also been featured in the Saatchi Art Blog and Create Magazine’s Top 13 Picks from The Other Art Fair. In addition, her work is part of private collections in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her paintings are landscapes of the heart which render human emotion. They depict the seasons, weather, and the panoramas within. Each work loosely references the seasons, sky, sea, snow, glaciers, and mountains. Her compositions which are rendered in pastel colors portray hybrid forms that are both topographic and personal.
