Creating Your Mandala Workshop

Mandala in progress

This workshop will introduce the history of the Mandala, its purpose and its uses in contemporary society. Studio time will be spent exploring personal imagery in its relationship to the mandala format. Various media will be available and some discussion and sharing of experiential processes will enrich our creative endeavors. As a sign, symbol, or metaphor - the mandala maps the psyche and the cosmos as sacred places that remind us of the sanctity of the universe and the potential for enlightenment through the creative process. Explore your own narrative in visual form and discover the never ending myriad of Mandalas that reside within.
