Through a variety of relaxation techniques, we’ll get into a more open and creative mindset, so self-expression moves directly to your brush without getting stuck in thoughts. In this inspiring painting workshop, you’ll discover how to free your inner painter as you pick up the brush and follow your instincts. This is the perfect workshop for the novice who wants to try painting without any pressure. Or for the experienced artist who wants to shake things up and discover a new way to approach the canvas. Participants are guided through relaxation methods which support the painting process. All supplies are provided for acrylic paint and canvas. If you prefer, feel free to bring your pastels or water colors and paper. Anyone can do this fun and uplifting workshop!

Teaching Artist, Ronnie Ann Ryan, is an author, workshop leader, speaker and award-winning blogger for over 40 years. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies as a speaker, coach, marketing consultant and writer. Creatively, Ronnie picked up the paint brush as a teenager and hasn't put it down since. She studied painting at UConn and with the University of Georgia in Tuscany. Her creativity extends to jewelry making and her pieces have sold at arts festivals and gift shops in CT. With a deep interest in spirituality, Ronnie has taught esoteric practices for over 20 years. Her unique approach and ability to lighten the energy of a group, encourages participants to explore their creativity during and after her workshops without the pressure to produce perfection.
