Create a Collage Landscape Workshop

$50; $10 material fee paid to the instructor. Members save $5

Create a landscape (can be desert, mountains, sea, etc.) using primarily torn & cut papers (made & specialty) adhered to your support which can be canvas or canvas and wood panels. More ideas for collage materials and embellishments will be listed in the Supply List. Instructor brings a variety of painted papers, etc. for participants’ to use in the workshop. Look in photography magazines, on Pinterest, and online for pictures of landscapes to use as a jumping off point for your collage.

Teaching Artist, Regina M. Thomas, has been a Professional Artist specializing in Collage, Mixed Media, and Assemblage Art for 20 years. She began her training in Richmond Upon Thames in London UK. She continues her on-going art education via retreats & workshops in Color Theory, Print Making, Encaustics, and other media. She has been an Art Instructor for the past 8 years in New Haven, University of Hartford as a Guest Artist for 3 years, and Workshops in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Her work is in private collections here and abroad, currently represented by Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook/Essex, CT.
