Create painted papers with markings, brushes, stencils, gel plates using acrylics, inks, markers, and crayons. These papers will be used to design animal, nature and still life collages on substrates.

You will look through magazines to find your imagery, make copies and learn to enlarge or minimize them to fit your canvas and composition. You’ll trace them onto card stock and cut out to create positive /negative stencils to work with. You’ll learn to focus on the dominant elements of a collage moving them around to create a pleasing composition or juxtaposing them to create whimsy. Finally tracing them onto the canvas or onto your hand made papers. Material list available.
