Pamela’s paintings are all about design – subject matter is not as important to her as the elements of design. She considers myself to be a contemporary watercolorist. She uses vibrant, bright colors and paint unique diversified subject matter.

Pamela attended SCSU (art education) and has studied under local artists the late DeWitt Brouard, Joan Downey, and Lian Zhen Master Chinese Watercolorist.

She has exhibited at Guilford’s Greene Gallery and in local art league shows, the Branford Art Center Gallery, and the Clinton Art Gallery. Pamela was the youngest exhibitor the Guilford Handcrafts Center’s annual craft show and sale had ever had, and received one of the first scholarships awarded by them.

She was a soft goods designer and artist, owned a Cottage Industry in the 70s & 80s making children’s clothing represented nationally and sold throughout the Country to upscale children’s clothing shops, boutiques, and catalogues.

Pamela was a nationally recognized soft goods artist for many years in the “Dog Show World” exhibiting at shows including Westminster in New York, the Crufts Dog Show in England, and the Dog World Show in Amsterdam.

Her first love is watercolor. She went back to painting in 2003 when she retired from the dog world. Pamela had to start at the beginning and work herself up to where she is today.
